Josh Baskin is the main protagonist from the 1988 live-action film, Big. He is portrayed by Tom Hanks as an adult and David Moscow as a child.
Biography[]
After Josh was too short to ride a carnival ride, he finds a fortune teller machine called the Zoltar machine which speaks. It had a curse and it works when it isn't plugged in. He says, "I wish I were big," and the Zoltar machine grants his wish. The next morning when Josh got out of bed, he finds out that he was in an adult body, which scared his mother.
In the end, Susan Lawrence takes him home, and he turns into a kid again, he reunites with his family.
